Senate version of ABATE's Vulnerable Road Users bill has been filed. It
is SB 278 by Senator Baxley. As of this date it has not been assigned to
any committees. |

legislative leaders Friday released contrasting COVID-19 protocols for
upcoming committee meetings, with the Senate setting up an off-site area
where the public can view and participate in meetings amid the pandemic. |

HOUSE PANELS - NSF Staff - Preparing for the start of
pre-session meetings in January, House Speaker Chris Sprowls on Friday
released committee and subcommittee assignments for House members and
named the leaders of subcommittees. Sprowls, R-Palm Harbor, announced
committee chairs and other House leaders last month. Among the
appointments announced Friday were the leaders of subcommittees that
will help craft a state budget. |

TALLAHASSEE --- Incoming House Speaker Chris Sprowls
on Thursday rolled out a leadership team and committee changes, including a new
committee that will be directed to look at the state’s response to the
coronavirus pandemic and plan for future emergencies. The Palm Harbor Republican, who takes the gavel on Nov. 17, sent a memo to House members that named a dozen leaders for the next two years and outlined changes such as creation of the Pandemics & Public Emergencies Committee. <SEE MORE> |
